The singer hasn?t dropped a proper record since her 2006 self-titled debut (she did put forth a lengthy mixtape in 2013 titled RockaByeBaby though), but her impending comeback is near.

During an interview with E! News on the white carpet at the VMAs on Sunday (August 28), Cassie revealed her new single is titled ?Makeup? and is produced by Detail (?Sexy Can I? by Ray J, ?I?m So Paid? by Akon, ?How to Love? by Lil Wayne, ?Drunk in Love? by Beyonc? and ?We Dem Boyz? by Wiz Khalifa).

?I think the ladies are gonna love,? Cassie said of the song, adding it?s ?coming soon.?
