Original Storyokay so i dont remember when i made the initial thread but.. i told you guys i kinda thought that my barber liked me but i didnt wanna fuck up a good thing because hes a dope ass barber...
well we started hanging out, first with his friends a lot at like bars and sports games...
slowly but surely we started to venture off and hang out by ourselves also. whether it was right before or right after meeting up with his guy friends... the more we hung out and closer we got AS FRIENDS i noticed he became a lot more defensive for me... like no sly or overly rude jokes were to be made about me or if he felt like i would take offensive.. he would NIP it in the bud and i would be like
"you aint have to do that.. i can take a joke and if it goes too far i can handle myself." and he would be like "nah, fuck that you my homeboy, and i started bringing you around so imma make sure you comfortable." or something to that extent
so im like
"okay then!" but since he was so hell bent on using the term "homeboy, homie, brodie, etc." i chalked it up as strictly friends and i didnt wanna fuck it up because by this point he was giving me free haircut every now and again... so i was like yeah.. let me chill
but my birthday was at the end of july.. and so he like a week later he asked did i wanna go out because he was out of town the weekend of my birthday.. so i was like cool.. im thinking we were about to go meet up with his boys and drink but we pulled up to the movie theater.. and im like "
its just me and you?" and hes like "yeah... i really wanna see suicide squad, you dont wanna be here or something" and i was like "no its nothing like that i was just suprised"
*we had a quick convo here about him not being ashamed to be seen in public or hang out with me as if i already didnt know*...
the movies just feels a lot more intimate for two guys that are just friends to be going..but whatev.. we go in.. he buys the tickets... i INSIST on buying the popcorn and drinks because.. yea i just do! lol i bought to separate popcorns
*REMEMBER THIS PART*so all is good, we are like half way through the movie... then he starts getting on his phone alot at this point.. so i think nothing of it because im really into the movie... all of a sudden i get a text saying
"you know you couldve just got one big pop corn and we coulda just shared.. what you think i got cooties or sumn?"
so im straight up looking like at this point:
and i cant help it but i go into complete flirt mode and i text him back and say "lol you probably do...idk!!"
and we both laugh a bit and just started watching the movie again..
~another twenty minutes go by and i get another text but i didnt see him take his phone out so i knew he wasnt the one texting me... so i just was like ill get to it once the movies was over..
Yall!!! he tapped me and was like... "you know your phone went off right" im thinking like "nigga, how you hear my phone on vibrate
" so im like fuck it ill just check it... but ill do it fast because i was into the movie!! (i like movies
) so i check it and ts from him and it says "would you think it was weird if i asked to hold your hand?"
so on the inside im like:
but i had to be cool so on the outside im like:
and i say "ummm.. idk" and he just grabs my hand and holds it..
so now im like fuck the movie, nigga you got my attention! but really i had to play it cool.
so the movie ends and we are headed to go to the bars with his friends.. and we start having a quick convo about what happened in the movie... and hes just saying he didnt know why but he felt compelled to hold my hand and that he feels really close to me.. im not really saying much but an occasional "oh.. wow.. really...aww.. cool." because im trying to play it cool but inside im fucking losing it..
so then we start talking about what i did for my actual birthday night... because he always thinks that i have a bunch a guys that wanna be with me(hes right, but i pay them no mind) so im like "i spent my birthday night lonely as fuck i got no action!"...
so I kid you not... he looks at me like:
he immediatley picks up his phone to call his boys and made some bs excuse why we werent meeting them at the bar anymore... im like why you lie to them and say that... and he says hes changing the plans...10 mins late we pull up at his house
...AND THATS WHEN I FUCKING KNEWlong story short.. i ended up getting impaled that night.. ill spare yall the details of that, this is already long enough.
