I always liked her, but i REALLY started to stan in 2008 when she came back with Human. RHD just snatched my ass! Omg, and those unleased trackes that leaked around that time sealed the deal. I had to have every album she put out. I found out about Afrodisiac and PUNCHED to Amazon!

Back in the day, I really USED all of her nuances and the fact that her live performances were a departure from the recorded songs. She always seemed so free (vocally) to me. I was captivated from the start.

As she developed as an artist, I began using different qualities of her voice, like her tone and range. From the jump, though, her technique always blew me away.

I didn't truly realize how incredible her voice was until 2002, Full Moon era.
But I knew something was special about her (or at least the way her voice made me feel) when I heard "Sittin Up In My Room" as a child.
