The record producer has been given permission to use a never-before-heard sample of a track called Down Boy from the hit 1953 film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.

Marilyn fan Jack Allen owns the rights to the track but told The Sun: ?This is a beautiful song. Timbaland is working with it in the studio, so I can?t wait to see what happens.?

He bought the song at an auction in 2005 and admitted that he woud love to hear Madonna, Mariah Carey, or Gwen Stefani work on an updated version of the song.
