A Memphis dance coach was arrested for exposing HIV to one of his students, police said.

John Conner, 27, is charged with sexual exploitation of a minor, criminal exposure to HIV, among others.

According to the arrest affidavit, he had sex with a 16-year-old boy last year, but Conner did not tell the victim he was HIV positive, police said.

Police said, the two met on several occasions and had unprotected sex in the suspect's car.

Nude images and sexual messages were also exchanged between the two, the affidavit stated.

Conner was diagnosed with HIV back in 2012.

He was arrested on Friday and is being held on $100,000 bond.

Police said he is due in court on Monday.
