Pressure cooker found under Bronx highway is deemed not dangerous

A pressure cooker was found under the Major Deegan Expressway in the Bronx on Wednesday afternoon, temporarily closing down streets and a portion of the highway.

The kitchen gadget was discovered at East 134th Street & Alexander Avenue at around 7 p.m. ? and later deemed not dangerous, police said.

The pressure cooker did not appear to have wires or a cellphone connected to it ? such as the two explosive devices planted in Chelsea last weekend, sources said.

Police investigated the pressure cooker and determined it was not an explosive device.

They shut down the damn bridge, everyone was stuck in traffic/blocked from entering buildings and in panic.
