I got my first manicure this week and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. I was a bit hesitant at first, but I'm glad I did it.

No paint, none of the frilly, girly stuff, just a basic manicure. The difference it makes in the look and feel of your nails is amazing. My nails are still clean, shiny and groomed 3 days later.

The staff was also very pleasant and the customers were nice as well. Some white lady next to me was talking to me and said that next time I should get a pedicure. 

Definitely going back in 2 weeks. What about you gorls? Do you keep your nails and feet well groomed and stuff?

Yes! I get pedicures. I keep my fingernails trimmed though.

Wait, I didn't realize pedicures were such a big thing. I'm the type who is like "no one really sees my feet so as long as they're clean and my toes stay trimmed I'm good, LMAO!"

But I guess I need to expand a bit.

I used to be like that too, but I have to look at my feet  Also, I used to see so many dudes walking around with disgusting ass toes that it made me want to do better

I do. Hate my nails getting excessively long.

The annoying thing is my nails grow really fast I have to cut them often.

I wanna start getting pedicures. I told my mom and she said it could be our "thing"
