For the longest Brit sold more albums than she had hit records.
It was only until 2008, 10 years into her career, that she started having TOP Ten singles and #1 songs on the regular, actually.

I just wanna point out that shania is the queen here with 3 ACTUAL diamond plaques

The average catalog album (a very old release) sells between 1 - 2,000 (if they're lucky) albums a week.
If we maxed it out at 2,000 x 52 weeks... that's 105,000 units sold in a year. It'd take 10 years to even sell another million albums at that rate.
