Ive been reading plenty of negative comments from movie/tv lovers in my country, saying the show is really slow, boring, with so many clich?s and that the leading actor lacks charisma

i think the writing and story is solid...yes there's clich?s and cheesy moments but which tv show (except for GOT  ) doesn't?

The leading actor slays! I love how he's just a regular guy. The writing was the only issue for me; it could use some improvement. Everything else is good.

I havent watched the show yet, but I remember watching  Jessica Jones and thinking he was bland as Luke. I remember him from The Following too. I think he doesnt give comics Luke Cage at all, he's like too nice guy looking to me, not exactly what the character gives on the comics pages

I think you'll grow to like him. Give it a shot!

Which part? I thought the writing was strong except for the major villain change half way through 

A few times, Cottonmouth and Misty's lines have come off as corny to me.
