Fantastic series. The writing is so well done, mixing current pop culture (Lemonade references), the original comic, the Marvel Comics Universe, hip hop, New York street slang AND blaxploitation films. ACK this show fucking SLAYS

The leading actor slays! I love how he's just a regular guy. The writing was the only issue for me; it could use some improvement. Everything else is good.

I havent watched the show yet, but I remember watching  Jessica Jones and thinking he was bland as Luke. I remember him from The Following too. I think he doesnt give comics Luke Cage at all, he's like too nice guy looking to me, not exactly what the character gives on the comics pages
