Yea Vonc... I dont tip the cable guy. You get charged for those services every month in your bill, whether you use it or not. Its on them to make sure that the mess you pay for WORKS.

However, northern people are a little different about tipping... I learned pretty quickly yall dont tip Uber drivers up here either.

the team that installs cable is sorta 'separate' from the company itself. They carry the brand and image but in a way, they're outsourced. They're paid on how quickly they can get the job done and onto the next. Although, I'm not sure if every cable company works that way, but "bright house" works like that. My friend works for them.

Now see.... I didnt know that. I guess in that sense, its more of a "repair man" than a cable man. But at the end of the day, we're still paying for those services in our bills each month. If they outsource, that has nothing to do with me imo. I've never heard of people tipping the cable guy...
