I think people should stop releasing "First Singles" before the album comes out.

Honestly, It hasn't been stimulating for me in a while. I do admit I haven't really tried to keep up with it because I found it so stagnant and boring. Dudes are still singing about the same things, production kinda dominates the other components of songs, and it's just not imaginative imo. I also know that Im not the biggest fan of "singers" though, Im more about the music so that could be why I feel this way too.

Im definitely open to suggestions if im mistaken. I really just think it's been dull af for years now.

Hip Hop is terrible . Not with this future-esque rapping mess. Beats are cool for the club though.

Not sure how to fix it because the Poetry lyrical artists Kendrick bore me too.

It's eh.. I don't use a lot of the current artists that are out now. It's not enough diversity between the female artists. Everybody giving the same damn thing tbh.

Ehh the industry is dead and R&B artists are suffering the most

But at least the indie side keeps pushing out good music

Rap>R&B

I think the issue is everyone either wants to be faux deep or faux rappers.

I feel like male R&B has definitely made a major comeback recently. Hip Hop is obviously still thriving.

Yes, when Brandy comes, she needs to drop a damn load on us. I really hope that's what she does.

I think quality wise I've been enjoying the R&B albums this year
commercially though it's gonna continue to falter until someone can find a way to make it interesting to more than just Black women and gays
