So this arab dude I was seeing at one point broke off contact with me, because his parents found out about us and apparently gave him a hard time. He basically ignored me for the past 6 months and at one point I didn't care anymore.
Flashforward->
Yesterday my doorbell suddenly rings and I wonder who it is, since I wasn't expecting anyone this late. I ask on the speaker who it is and receive no answer. I go back to the kitchen where I'm cooking with a girlfriend, when it suddenly rings again. She answers and I immediately realize that it's the arab guy, asking if I'm home. I tell my friend to tell him no and so she does and says bye while she's at it. Minutes later he rings the bell again, asking for my number. She gives him my number just to make him finally leave. But well, he rings the doorbell again after several minutes and she keeps repeating that I'm not at home and that he should better get going now. This goes on for literally 30 min until he says that he knows I'm in the house, because he actually saw me.
Chile...I finally just went out, although I was afraid of being shot or stabbed by him or his family, but I really got fed up with his determination to talk to me. I ask him what he wants and it turns out he just came by to say hi and see how I was doing. But when I ask him if he saw by coincidence, he tells me that he was actually lingering around my house, in hopes of seeing me.
Now get this: I have been out of the country for 3 months and basically just came back, so now I'm wondering how often he already was in front of my house waiting for me. This whole thing was really creepy. At the same time I found it kind of flattering that someone is that serious about having me back in their life. I really don't know what to think.
Should I give him another chance or am I just setting myself up for disappointment and a whole lot of drama and possibly some bullets in my chest?
