That's Beyonce and the damn MTV awards, this is Brandy and the Soul Train awards :dead:
Brandy doesn;t even perform unreleased songs on TOUR

and magic isn't a unreleased song, it's a cover
its both
she didn't officially release her version so it's unreleased

The point is, singing songs that little to no one would be familiar with
is the wrong way to go about this

...Her tours, however, need to be single-free IMHMFOGD
ppl DO know her album cuts though
on the video where everyone was praising her
Tank sang When You Touch Me, J HUD sang Without You
Tamar just recently did a video singing When You Touch Me on Instagram
y'all are sleeping on your own fave
eeeeeeeeek
not from the person who said Full Moon was just a no-risk R&B album

I would like to hear B&P at the end of her medley though

If she didnt have a lot of hits, she can do album cuts. The only 'hit record' she shouldnt perform is a brand new song. When a tribute is done, people should be like "Damn. Brandy really has an impressive catalog." Throwing in album cuts would indicate to the viewers she is scrambling to fit in songs to fill the time slot.

And that Beyonce example was horrible. Doing a medley of an album that was released months ago is totally different from a Soul Train Awards tribute.

Guys, lets just stop entertaining Ray. He's trolling at this point.

Jayden said "NO ONE" performs album cuts
now we got all these excuses & stipulations "well if its a visual album!" at the VMAs!
there's really no difference Bey catered to her fans, and Brandy can too

It was more like MTV let Beyonc? give a mini Beyonc? concert. And even then, Bey didn't pull out random deep tracks throughout her career, just new songs from the new album she wanted to promote.  She got like 30 min.

You know that was a very unique situation. One that only happened because she's like the biggest thing going on in music right now, and people love to see her perform no matter what it is.  MTV doesn't 't usually let people have the stage for 30 min and say perform whatever you want to perform.

Brandy is an excellent performer, but she isn't the biggest current music artist around right now.  If she got up there, the crowd would be hype after watching a video of all her accomplishments. But she would lose the crowd, save for a few stans, if she went through a line of random songs they don't know anything about.

JUST a no risk album?
;;;(5(5;;
you read what you wanted to huh?
Full Moon wasn't a risk IMO, but it is the best album ever. You don't have to be risky to be great. you tried that
