no i really wouldnt.  If thats what you like thats what  you like.  I mean thats almost like someone saying to us gays. " Men are supposed to like WOMEN ONLY thats how its supposed to be ?  How can you not like women? "  Then you would said  " Its my PREFERENCE! Its what I AM ATTRACTED TOO and i was BORN THIS WAY"

And gender is completely different from race. There is NO difference amongst humans BUT gender. Me explaining why I prefer men would be a lot different and easier than you explaining why you prefer white boys.

i mean that is all it boils down to is preference.  How can you say its different ?? I dont find it hard it all.  you just asked me and im telling you. Its my preference.  I cant explain why in some 5 page Thesis.  Can you explain why  youre attracted to men. Its what I like.  There is no hidden meaning or DEEP rooted issue.

I'm a man. Not a woman. In my mind it makes plenty of sense why there's no attraction. We're not the same.

I honestly feel its how I grew up.  Keep in mind I am of mixed race Dads black mom is white .  I look more black except I am light skinned and have blue eyes. I was the only black or mixed guy in my school up until middle school or so.  I grew up around mostly white guys and girls and it kind of just stuck and you take that for what it is.

That's understandable. Although I'm not mixed I can kinda relate. I was raised in Orange County, CA. I grew up with mostly White kids as well. It wasn't until we moved to Houston that I started being around more Blacks. Once I became an adult I felt it was my responsibility to learn and expose myself more to the culture of OUR people. I'm not gonna sit here and act like the most "woke" gorl here, because I'm not. I'm a work in progress, but I'm taking steps to learn and "unlearn", if that makes any sense.

Thats cool that you can relate a bit. I try to understand and learn as well but I didnt grow up like a lot of other black kids.  I wasnt really exposed to the hardcore black culture till high school. Also I did feel attacked a bit i expected it from others but not you but I may have took it the wrong way but I accept your apology its all good!

Yes I do.  I dont even tell ppl I am mixed or anything like that ( besides today since we were talking about it)  The only time I say im mixed in person is if I am asked cause of my eye color .. other than that I am black

I know a lot of us say this is "just a message board", but I have learned a lot from you guys,
especially when it comes to race and being woke. I really appreciate these discussions,
because they are very eye opening. So thank you.

Not really from the conversations specific to social issues, but interactions and responses to threads they are posted. That's how I gather most of my conclusions.
