:uhh: Please research and read up on what gender identity means. I hate when people are so ignorant when it comes to transgender people.

Im not ignorant im just not IGNORING REALITY but I respect their Identity either way
You are being ignorant. Simple as that.

Which part is ignorant there are more sides to the issue than how transgendered ppul view themselves
as well as scientific facts to back it up as well
where is the ignorance?

there are transgenders that don't take hormones, don't get surgeries and are happy with the parts they have but they just don't feel the gender they were given at birth.

just because someone doesn't go all out doesn't make them less of a transgender than the next.

But since he specifically mentioned the ones who do take hormones and nip and tuck, why not address that? We know transgender is an umbrella term but he was rather specific. I dont think yall actually tried to understand his question, rather jump at the opportunity to show everyone how tolerant and understanding you are and oh! ignorant!

so he should say "trans logic" as in ALL trans think that way?

I rarely hear that... But I don't think someone saying 'that makes her less than a woman?' should be taken literal. that sounds more like "just because I'm trans, I'm human too."

since people like to act like trans is a disease or an "OTHER" in gender classification. it doesn't sound like they are forcing people to think they were actually born a female/male when they obviously weren't.

they just want to feel 'normal' and accepted just as anyone else.

post op or not, if they identify as "transgender", then that's what they identify as & just deal with it.

thats how i see it i say be you with what you got
those are usually called non binary trans

but my post was for the ones that dont want the transgender label and just want to male or female without saying trangender male or transgender female

but is clearly going from one to the other

oops. my bad.

but,

well its not all trans but i explained which trans logic i was referring to (the ones who do not belive there was a transition eventho they are taking steps towards it and the ones who subscribe to the gender does not exist theory)

and  its my opinion that gender roles are a social construct because there are things pushed on us
like girls play with dolls and easy bake ovens and boys play with cars trucks planes and fix it stuff

and that is a social construct of gender roles
but to say actual gender doesnt exist is weird imo

and i think if the people really belived this there would be a more a move to identifying with both sexes equally instead of just going against being (as they were born)

if that makes sense

leftout

I just don't get why they identify as both transgender and the new gender they've become. If I got a strap permanently attached, I would claim "male" and only that
