Yea, but that still isn't jealousy tho. I think seeing someone succeed can definitely make u reevaluate what ur doing and what u need to do to become more satisfied in ur own life

I think the word "jealousy" is given such a heavy weight, that people disassociate themselves with it.

Example:

Now being "jealous" of your friend...and saying "awww that's so cool, dang I want that too!" (which is essentially what you're saying if their accomplishments move you to aspire for the same) Could easily be mistaken for one another, depending on who you ask.

Envy is a very dark and powerful word. And it's directly associate with jealousy. I don't think anyone should feel that type of thing towards anyone they consider to be a friend. But I do agree that saying "Awww, I want that too! Lemme get on my mess and get it!" To me it's a lil jealousy lol. but it's cute jealousy and useful jealousy.

Not sitting somewhere fuming at your own friend for them doing well. You should be happy you're associated with people who are making moves in life. Birds of the feather.

I have such a tight relationship with God/universe, that it's mainly just "us" that I attend to.

I can't tell the last time I focused on what someone else was doing, though.

Now THIS is true too. Im very focused on me and how i can better myself. I don't look around to see who has what, who's doing what, etc. I take inventory and self reflect  on my life all by myself and decide "am i happy here", "why or why not", "if no, what can i do to get myself where i wanna go"
