Still hot off the success of ?All the Way,? Remy Ma is ?Cookin? up her first solo album in a decade.

Speaking exclusively to Rap-Up, the ?Love & Hip Hop: New York? star revealed the tentative title, Seven Winters & Six Summers.

?I just started working on my solo project,? said Remy of the follow-up to 2006?s There?s Something About Remy: Based on a True Story. ?I?m almost positive it?s going to be called Seven Winters & Six Summers. I?m just having a lot of fun with it. It?s amazing already.?

The title, of course, is a callback to her ?All the Way Up (Remix)? verse, which references the amount of time she spent in prison. While locked up, Remy says she would think of the seasons as a way to count down to her release date.

This acted as a therapeutic way to pass the time. ?It seemed like it made it go by faster when I thought of it in terms of leaves falling off and on the trees,? she says. ?It sounds crazy, but thinking about it in the amount of years, I couldn?t fathom thinking about it like that. It just seemed so long.?

Now home, she says she?s finally ready to dig into the emotions that she felt while she was behind bars.

?That was a big part of my life and I want to express that on my next project,? she says. ?I don?t think I?ve ever in-depth sat down and talked about what I went through, emotionally, and physically. Some of the records that I want to put on there, I?m incorporating things I wrote while I was away.?

That?s good news, according to Papoose, who says his girl?s jailhouse journals hold some of her best material yet. ?You can tell that the person who wrote them took their time with each line,? he says. ?Just how hip-hop was back in the days, you knew that it was well prepared.?

But before she drops her solo album, Remy and Fat Joe plan to release their joint project Plata o Plomo by the end of 2016.

XXX.

Good album title.

Album gonna be trash, though.  I can already see "featuring Fat Joe & French Montana" all over it.

Opposites Attract.

I don't think she'll have much commercial sucess but the streets respect her. She is a respected lyricist.
