Aside from the homophobia, I agree. It's true. I am sick of black people supporting coonery like the Blac Chyna's, Amber Roses, and Love and Hip-Hop and other garbage ass reality shows. Well for one thing its not promoting black men period madea is a female character so a black man is not even depicted if anything the masculinization of strong black women is personified more than the demasculinization of black men

Secondly the movie is a historical film its already happened so there isnt a current movement about it its just lending a visual to the history already in the books
Anyone who was interested wouldnt wait till a movie was released to know about it

And yea id rather see a comedy with madea over a slave revolt movie
Most movie goers are trying to escape the reality of their lives not be reminded of it

The movie was destined for low numbers but the story should be told anyway
