No,  I would get jealous of the kid if my husband was giving them more attention than me

I love spending time with my neices tho. They're both well behaved and my sister does a great job with them, but the feeling of freedom after I ship em back home >>>

:blessed:
!!!

I like to take my nephews out and spoil them, but as soon as my sister says shes on her way home I'm already getting my keys and collecting my things so I can walk OWT as soon as she steps in

:overit:

!!!!!!!!

I babysat my niece a few months ago while my sister and her bf went to this comedy show. My sister text me asking me how everything was going and if I wanted her to spend the night.

I told that bitch no so fast. Your daughter will be waiting for you tonight hun

Kids suck guys

But if I were to get a kid, I'd adopt and I'd make sure my partner and I were on the same page and that we were both legally bound.

Not dumping them off on me :overit:

I'm surprised at your responses in here. We have discussed kids before and you've always said that you wanted them

i think the way i feel about children also comes from seeing 2 of my best friends have children the moment we started college

our paths and priorities changed drastically

me: going to the bars LOLZ
him: have to work an extra shift to pay for this $300 daycare LOL

Yeah my best friend had her daughter right after HS. She still is the same person but those priorities really put a wrench in some of the relationship building experiences I have had with other people.

I adore children. Simply love them. I love spending time with my niece and nephew. I love spoiling them too. They're my hearts. I love the interaction I have with them. Getting to know them as a person and what they're into. It's fascinating. I practically raised my niece since birth so I feel like I'm a parent to her and my nephew although he has his father's grandmother actively involved in his life.

I had kinda resigned myself to not having kids until recently, my best friend had a little girl in January and i'm in love with her. lol. It's a really beautiful feeling and I would like to experience it at some point.

I'm in two minds about children. Sometimes I think I really want them and then I see a kid crying their head off somewhere and I'm like NOPE.

I do have bby names picked out tho. I want 2 girls and 1 boy; Aaliyah and Aminah for the girls, and Dante/Mephiste for the boy.
