Just because my test will say Ghana it doesn't mean I have Ghanaian ppl in my family. DNA doesn't care about political borders.

I wish the people who own the DNA tests would say that, they have people claiming countries and area's that never existed 200 years ago, the Akan/Yourba/Hausa tribe and borders today aren't the same people 2 centuries ago

That goes for every region. Without concrete relatives and information on the language they speak, the exact cities they lived and grew up in, "Spanish", "Ivorian" etc is useless, it roughly gives you the continent. It's an indication no damn prove for anything.

So bottom line the test can't tell you if you have Spanish or Portuguese or Andorran in your family, making the test incapable of assertively distinguishing Spanish from other European ancestry. It merely gives you trends.
