you guys should watch this, it literally talks about everything discussed in here

the way they describe the USA is how I see the United Kingdom. To me it is like a black paradise, and they all want to go to the States

:plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop:
i guess it's because black people hold more positions of power in ALL fields, politics, the army, the justice systems than in the U.K, so they look to that for inspiration
but it's weird because racism is more blatant and recurrent over there than anywhere else in the west for blacks  :dead:
well RACE is like, EVERYTHING here

I just found out most places outside of the US dont ask for Race and Ethnic background on EVERY job/school/survey application

:kii: :kii: :kii:

It is funny Estelle said racism is much worse in the UK, and how she loved it so much more in the United States... It put things into perspective for me.

The term race was formally eradicated from our vocabulary. Even saying the word makes you sound evil. And it is prohibited to track ethnic background. We don't have racial categories here. I found it weird, that in the UK and US you have tick these boxes.

ddddddd yh we have a equality diversity act here
we dont ask for race, age, religion ect on job application forms, and even IF they do, it's your right not to fill them out, the only ones that ask is when they are doing  a survey to see which demographic their posts are being drawn to the most

Yeah most black people don't have cable so all the black shows on cable TV are successful because of the Pale Devils.
we're the biggest consumers of cable tv  :dead:

I agree with Malc on the working class thing though, maybe it's more of a class thing than a race thing
I'm from a working class immigrant family myself, and I live in the most diverse borough in the city, but the neighbourhood I live in is predominately black
Even the under 30's non black people here talk the same and move the same, use the same slang ect
black culture has made a huge impact around the world, but it seems like it's more "safe" and acceptable for whites to "act black" than blacks themselves
white people can be vocal or loud, belligerent, dominant ect but the repercussions are rarely ever the same for a black people
I agree with this. If you are black and working class subconsciously sometimes you have to be extra cautious not to seem that way. Many whites don't even think twice.
!!!!
Where I work in largely white institution and has been that way for centuries, so already whenever I go in I have to watch how I talk, my volume, my body language, my facial expressions ect  :dead:
but when I'm around my black collegues, it's like I become a totally different person
sssss this is what I was saying.

I work in fckin Debenhams, and I'm sure you know the customer base is 90% white.
!!!g
r
gar
gar I already KNOW sis
it can't get no whiter than debbie's
and I'm sure your sometimes apprehensive about approaching certain customers, or they are apprehensive when approaching you
omg !!!!!!!!!  :dead: :dead:

It's a mess truly.

FINE.
