I honestly don't understand what it means to be too black.

!!!
the concept makes no sense to me.

we don't ask whites "are you too white" I don't get it.
n

Just say you don't agree with it. As opposed to this oblivious mess.

I'm not giving oblivious.
I clearly said it doesn't make sense to me.

there's no such thing as being "too black". I think this entire convo is silly

Being too white

Is being white while being ignorant of diversity around them ( which is very hard to do since other melting pots add more anyway)

Being to black

Is acting like u are a product of a black experience only

Both do not take into consideration
That there are others that we should consider to lend ourselves to a more well rounded cultural appropriation

But some truly do not know anything else

But blacks even with a black only experience still succumb to the societal norms of whites tho

Hmm

I mean just because your now a kpop convert doesn't now mean you can now give elite :dead:
especially when they are racist to YOUR own kind but seem to be silent when it comes to that

comments like this is why I say blacks are very judgemental.
what does listening to kpop have anything to do with anything?
I'm still black. I was black before I discovered kpop and will be black after it.

listening to kpop doesn't erase my blackness. I'm still the same person
so I'm not really sure what giving "elite" means. I haven't changed
of course would go over your head

DVDDY.

I have noticed that I hangout with majority of my white friends Monday - Thursday  :young:

Friday - Sunday is reserved for my nig'  :ohwow:

I don't feel like I can fully unwind when I'm in white spaces. I almost always have some guard up. And, I don't want to bring them to my black spaces because I don't want them there  :plzstop:

Eh

I dont think its a racial thing

I don't mix some of my friends purely because they won't have shit in common

And its only natural to feel more comfortable around your own kind

Nothing wrong with getting a little hood in public.

:supluv:

Only time I really take issue is when people of other races try it a bit.....like someone who said "I love ghetto Chinese food!!!"...

Now if you know, if you REALLY down with the hood, you'd know we don't call it "ghetto Chinese food". We call it "that chinese food from the hood" :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop:

ain't nuttin like it :supluv: :supluv:
tbfh

Cuz when i went to philly

These two hole in the walls gave me my life

But the downtown one was disgusting :uhh:
