MTV's 9PM telecast of the MTV Video Music Awards was second with a 2.6 adults 18-49 rating, down 38 percent from last year's 4.2. However, when cumed with the other networks simulcasting the VMAs, that number rises to a 4.6 adults 18-49 rating, up 10 percent from last year.

  @ only 5 mil viewers. Less than the BET awards.

3 million down on the channel alone. Though it did help that they broadcast it across multiple channels which brought it to an overall 9.8.

Wow. Bey's show had like 8 million on MTV alone and up to 10 million from other sources.
