Deadline is reporting that actress Nia Long just landed a recurring role on Fox's hit show Empire. Apparently, she will be playing a gangster club owner who hashes it out with Cookie Lyon!

"Long will play Giuliana (Giusi), a queenpin who runs a club in Las Vegas and makes brash moves in the gangster underworld of New York to secure a deal with Empire.
