But I am so appreciative of Ken Dahl.

I can really say I lived a few of my dreams. Shooting videos, major blogs buzzing, I remember crying when I woke up to find Perez Hilton talking about my mess. I cried when I saw people in Tokyo and Japan, and all around, dancing to my stuff. I saw things I never thought I'd see .

It was so fun. But the buzz died down, and after a while I realized I was more concerned with keeping buzz going than the art itself. sssss Time to step away, cuz that's when you doing ridiculous, inauthentic mess just for a view. And videos and crafting albums isn't cheap at all.

Me & Keith had our ins and outs but he preached to me a bit sometimes. He said "Herb, this seems more like a hobby on the side for you, than a dream." I denied that up and down but once you learn to become more critical of yourself, a lot of shit makes sense.

My happiness is the most important to me. I know I'll probably return to music at some point, but it definitely won't be Ken Dahl. And I'm sure it'll be random. The thing with me and music is, if I'm not having fun with it, or if it's not serving as a much needed expressive outlet for me (Casper, anyone) I don't wanna do it.

Sorry but real's mess made me wanna reflect just a bit.
