I have only cut off two people: my Church bottom Queen of an uncle because he's consistently rude and disrespectful and tries his whole life every time I see him, and my father for two years because he and my mom and siblings got into this huge fight and my family was almost destroyed.

I have to be fed up to the point of anger and disgust to cut you off from my life.

For me.... There's never really a "time" or peak point. I usually let things build up overtime or I just realize somebody is adding nothing of value to my life and then I'll just randomly cut the person off without exchange of words or any significant "trigger".

I can say though when I feel like I'm being used and gaining nothing from a friendship, I'm definitely ready to cut it off.

Example: some people are okay with being cheated on, they continue to try to work it out with their partner. I have a zero tolerance pol' on physical cheating.

Crossing the line to me is lying or withholding information.
If you fucked up, let me know and let's see if there's a way to work on it.
I'm not even saying I'd be forgiving. I'm just saying I'd respect it more.

Relationship or friendship, once you put your hands on me. It's over.

I used to be okay with semi-physical disputes until I smacked my ex a lil too hard one day and he had a fit.
