White ppl told black slaves that voodoo was bad the reason they incorporated Christianity. They forced their religion and language upon us
I'm starting to research the ideal that God is inside us
our temple

maybe since our connection to our ancestors was cut .... it left us powerless

I would really like to find out the TRUTH

From what I was told, my grandfather grew up practicing Voodoo as well, but when he got out of the military he stopped and became a pastor & principal of a high school.

My mom was recently telling me about how my grandfather's side of the family was heavily into voodoo.

Some of the shit she shared was really scary.

My granny's side is very God fearing. So she wouldn't want them around her or her kids.
what kinda shit went on, bby? :ohwow:

Back in the 60s my grandfather owned a lot of land in Texas with oil wells & shit.

His sisters were very jealous. We think they put some sort of spell on him,
because the minute the shit hit the fan between them his health started rapidly declining.

After he died, his sister (who despised my granny) had her church bring over some food for the family. My granny had a very bad feeling about it and threw it all out when they left. She literally took the shit to the river and TOSSED it. Before they could throw it all out my aunt, who was a teenager at the time, grabbed a few cherries that were in the batch and ate them.

No lie, she got so sick all of a sudden. Like, she had to go to the hospital because of some weird reaction
she had after eating that mess. They thought she was gonna die, but she recovered.
:ohwow: what ever happened to those sisters?

they still around? :dead: If I was you, I'd pay both of them monthly visits, collecting any MESS I could get my hands on. Cauldrons hidden the cellar, vials of MESS in the bathroom cabinets. render the witches POWERLESS a bit

Not all voodoo is bad though.

Sovereign.

The proper term for voodoo is vodun. And it's not witchcraft. :dead:

It's an actual religion that Western Anglo culture has vilified. It birthed Catholicism.

!!! I don't believe in it at all but the person I know who practices is not a very nice person at all. She fell and broke both her hips and her legs after "cursing" her own brother which I find hilarious. At least they get back what they put out.  :kii: :uhh:
