She didn't spend her own money...then what was the purpose of her label then...most artist don't spend their own money. It doesnt even make sense. Why spend your own money and still have to give majority of the profit to republic. Major deals don't work like that

Uhm yeah they do. The only thing Republic does for Nicki is marketing, radio, promotion and distribution. That's it. She funds her own videos, studio time, photo shoots, she pays her own staff. It's not foreign. Beyonc?, Gaga, Kanye and Adele does the same.
