I don't know..if my son or daughter wanted to switch, I'd make them wait until they were old enough to fully understand the dedication, the commiment and the adversity they'd face.
Not to put them off but so that they wouldn't regret their decision 10 years down the line

No disrespect, but i think it's so crazy to say the way someone chooses to live THEIR life is "disturbing". I never understood why people concern themselves with who someone else is fckn or if they choose to throw on a dress or some slacks. Shit, u get one life and whatever makes ur quality of life amazing, then do that. However, i do think that the parents of a young transgendered person should proceed with caution, because i wouldnt wanna greenlight something at an early age and yrs down the line you're like MEH

and that's the point here, nigger.

You can miss me with that whole LBGT, born this way! spiel. I don't give a fuck about these grown ass trannies even if I find it WEIRD, they're adults who made the conscious decision to cut the dick off or wear a strap mess and pretend to be who they want to be. However there's definitely an issue when a 9 year old boy is told that they can parade around in a wig and stop "pretending" to be a boy. That's just straight up delusional. I have a problem when it starts to effect other people's lives (that bathroom mess). Kids can easily change their minds (seen by R. Kelly's daughter) so it's good to be cautious. Her mom was so ready to accept that shit and her dad wasn't cause she was still growing mentally but now the lil DYKE is parading around with a low caesar and claiming to be stud lesbian. Proving him right. Says she loves being a girl. I've read about even older trannies who decided to go back to who they are as they get older. So imagine if a CHILD is given the right to pick who they want to be? That shit doesn't make sense to me. We even had a long thread on here about whether straight men would mess with a gay guy and A LOT of you said sexuality fluid! I think they probably would've when they were YOUNGER when they were still finding themselves. So how the hell can  child who doesn't know themselves yet just be a GIRL! or a BOY! at their own decision Wtf. These attempts to push an agenda is hurting these young people's psych state and will just increase suicide rates.

Honestly you faggs hate yourselves but RUDE! NO JUDGMENT ZONE! A lot of others on here call them "IT" and there's some parody account on here about some tranny being the joke of the board. Y'all can miss me with this shit.
I see your point in a few things you said.

It's such tricky waters when it comes to kids. I dunno.

I often think if I had a son, would I allow him to see two men kissing each other on TV? He'd definitely have to be old enough to understand what he's watching. But then again, at a certain age, should he be watching ANYONE kiss each other on a TV screen :plzstop: :plzstop: straight or gay....

Sure by the time he's old enough to watch something outside of Nick JR. I'd explain to him what he is bound to see, and that he has to make his own decisions in life.

I think some parents with tran kids are afraid of their child growing up to hate them for not letting them be what they wanted to be. I can imagine that is tricky as a parent. but it's also pretty evident that white families are more likely to "understand" than any other group of people.  :plzstop: :plzstop:

!!!!!

Right. That's def. another issue about being so accepting so soon.
Children definitely experiment in their younger age.

They may think they like girls, boys, whatever..
they do whatever they feel like!

I know a couple of men who dipped in the homo water a bit in their teens, but want to forget it ever happened.

I had sex with a girl when I was 14. I was disgusted the entire time but hey I tried it
Only difference is there would be no stigma attached to me admitting it, or it even being printed or broadcasted somewhere. If anything I'd get a high five from str8 niggas.  :plzstop: Not so much for gay mess.

I don't completely agree with you but you actually have a point.

This is obviously someones secondary account :dead: This weird fagg came at with some "R. Kelly sucks!" shit literally a week into Bsource (keep in mind I don't talk about him like that anymore) and I was wondering how would he even know I was a 'Bert unless he been on here for years.
Knew I was a female. A new person would just assume I'm some gay nigga on here.
Same Bsource typing style and everything.
Claims I hates the gays now. This is a running joke on here based on threads and posts I've made in the PAST like 1 to 2 years ago. This is honestly the only thread I've made that would make someone think I'm anti-gay! since he has been on here.

Fag, reveal yourself. Squid scan his IP address. This shit is getting out of hand and beyond corny now.

I do agree with Iman on the child issue
Children aren't old enough to know themselves yet and even as adults we're constantly finding and re-inventing ourselves, so slapping them on front of a magazine cover when in 6 months they could possibly change their minds isn't a bright idea, especially when it's something sensitive and personal such as sexuality and identity.
Ever since Bruce became Caitlin the whole thing has been romantized IMO
It's def a lot deeper and serious than that.

Children are incredibly smart
and I think a lot of you here don't give them enough credit
it's not impossible for a child to know who they are at a young age

I knew I was gay at a very young age...I didn't need to be told what i was
or see it on tv, movies, etc...i knew it inside me who I was
knowing that your gay from an early age isn't the same feeling your in the wrong body though ggg
I went through a bit where I'd wear my mothers heels :dead:
My mum legit thought I wanted to be be a girl, and I thought I did too  :uhh:
It was only a phase, no ones saying a child doesn't know what it wants, some do, some don't...
It's a huge decision for a child to make

why is it not?
it's still realizing something about yourself...me realizing I'm gay
is no more different than a transgender kid realizing.knowing they're in the wrong body...

what you were going through could've been a phase
but that's not the case for everyone. Some kids just know 100% who they are
and i don't really see it as a "huge decision" because that would mean it would be a choice to make
and there really isn't...it's just what it is.
it wasn't my choice to be gay, just like its not a trans kids choice to be trans

But this is my position too. As a parent, i think it's my place to be the voice of reason and try to be a lil more thorough in our decisions and actions. I could maybe understand someone arguing the alternative tho. There is no RIGHT decision tbh. I wouldnt judge someone for doing something  that can be chalked up to  supporting their child.  Everyone is so damn judgemental smh
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw
