Bernie Sanders spoke on the Senate floor today in order to urge Donald Trump to veto any cuts that would be made to Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. To make his point, he used a giant cut out of one of Trump's tweets as a way to remind the president-elect that he once said he would not repeal Obamacare.

The cut out read, ?I was the first & only potential GOP candidate to state there will be no cuts to Social Security, Medicare & Medicaid. Huckabee copied me," which Trump tweeted back in 2015.

Sanders then explained why Trump should be held accountable for his tweet.
