Her husband is rambling about this mulatto mess.
Mulattos are not discriminated against in the Black community :plzstop: :plzstop:

Look at Obama, he's half white and we still claim him as Black.  :plzstop:

It's the white people who toss mulattos in the trash.

As a light skin Black woman,

I know that in the South they go overboard with mess like that.

Someone was telling me that their great great grandmother was "light skinded" and I was just looking at them in complete disbelief. :udontlookok:
I think it's just your environment because although I've heard of the mixed girls facing rejecting from both sides, I've personally never seen it  :dead:

Every school I've gone to, we were all just black kids.

:diddraispoot: Yes they are. Even if they are perceived to be mulatto, these individuals can face discrimination within the Black community.

As a light skin Black woman, I have to vehemently disagree with this. I'm not a mulatto, but light skin Blacks are always picked on for not being Black enough or treated like we wanna be white when we don't. It can be really horrible. I lived in a poor, all Black neighborhood and shit like that happened to me a lot. I got a scholarship to go to a rich white school and they were super racist and awful, so you can kinda feel like you have no home. Granted I feel way more comfortable around Black people obviously. But still this is def a problem and if you talk to more light skin Blacks they'll tell you the same. I've heard it from multiple people.
He said mulatto sis.

I agree tho, especially light skin/ mulatto men. My god. We're tested on our hardness early on. I will admit that being a mulatto was problematic in my childhood among black and white people, but now being mixed is the new thing. Everybody wanna be a mutt nowadays.

Well what she said still stands. And she's right. It's like blk ppl go from one extreme to the next. We'll be praising a lighter skinned black and the next thing you know the thread is plastered with pics of Chili and Tatiana and other dark blacks.

I think we forget that black is a lot of shades.

And girl not everybody wanna be no damn mutt, theoretically speaking we are ALL mutts, you feeling yourself because you got less melanin outta the bunch :dead:
