Her husband is rambling about this mulatto mess.
Mulattos are not discriminated against in the Black community

Look at Obama, he's half white and we still claim him as Black.
It's the white people who toss mulattos in the trash.
As a light skin Black woman, I have to vehemently disagree with this. I'm not a mulatto, but light skin Blacks are always picked on for not being Black enough or treated like we wanna be white when we don't. It can be really horrible. I lived in a poor, all Black neighborhood and shit like that happened to me a lot. I got a scholarship to go to a rich white school and they were super racist and awful, so you can kinda feel like you have no home. Granted I feel way more comfortable around Black people obviously. But still this is def a problem and if you talk to more light skin Blacks they'll tell you the same. I've heard it from multiple people.
He said mulatto sis.
I agree tho, especially light skin/ mulatto men. My god. We're tested on our hardness early on. I will admit that being a mulatto was problematic in my childhood among black and white people, but now being mixed is the new thing. Everybody wanna be a mutt nowadays.

Well what she said still stands. And she's right. It's like blk ppl go from one extreme to the next. We'll be praising a lighter skinned black and the next thing you know the thread is plastered with pics of Chili and Tatiana and other dark blacks.
I think we forget that black is a lot of shades.
And girl not everybody wanna be no damn mutt, theoretically speaking we are ALL mutts, you feeling yourself because you got less melanin outta the bunch
Don't do that to me sis. I'm just reporting the news sis. The stats according to buzzfeed say the most beautiful face here in 'merica post 2010- is the mulatto face. Do your research. Even Queen Mariah said mutts are in now.
I get it though, I do. But lets not act like you're under served being a mulatto, especially a mulatto female. *Cough* Zendaya *Cough* Now Fake is called soft, sissies, punks and bullfaggers, but I'm inclined to believe and not because he's waffled colored.
s
Girl I'm not doing anything
Zendaya just ain't a good example of colorism against mixed or lighter skinned blacks

And FLake IS soft so that's moot as well
And mixed isn't in hun, WHITE is, but that's the other side of the colorism coin, "supposedly" lighter skinned blacks feel better than.
Mind you!
Both of these ideals were instilled into blacks during slavery.
