I have so much sympathy for them.

I can't imagine what it's like to be in so deep and dark that you feel like killing yourself  is the best solution . Leaving your entire life behind . Like how horrible and low do you have to feel to want to do something like that?
It's extremely sad..breaks my heart.
I can't imagine feeling that lost and that far down the wrong path in life that quitting seemed like the best option .

Speaking of mental illness kinda sad how blacks don't take it seriously or think you can just pray shit away.  :dead:

Sbdbdbddfddddfdffff

Faith without WORKS is dead!
Takes more than prayer for sure. A lot of black don't realize that.
But Prayer and a connection with God is extremely important

But then again I couldn't imagine myself in a 9/11 situation

I'd probably go LEAPING out the window too if I knew it was the end either way
I'd prefer a quick and easy tea

I think a good portion of people would

I've already put in my will that if I'm brain dead for 2 months+

I definitely sympathize. Now with the actor who committed suicide, news outlets are reporting he was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault before the suicide. And the crazy part, people on his IG page want to see the video of it.

My friend just texted me an article of some guy who killed himself on FB Live. like "this is so sad." I didnt feel anything.

Not another one :uhh:

Man I saw a Fb live video of a guy lying in the street after a car accident, face gashed up, narrating what was happening and checking his angles :uhh:

Have to admit, the fb live part of this suicide probably made me feel even more of nothing. I despise an attention seeker, no matter how far you go to get it. Not saying this guy was a stunt queen x100, but I dont get broadcasting that...

The way I look at some people lose reality and feel alone and they cry out for help, but no one ever really steps in to try and help and that person may be too embarrassed to actually ask for help because there is a prevalent mentality that you shouldn't show weakness or allow someone to see you in a weak state, so these people have to deal with wanting attention but also not wanting to seem weak and it all builds up and when they do decide to go for suicide they do it in an attention seeking way because it's their last attempt for someone to notice them.

I just found out yesterday that my best friend from undergrad committed suicide. He was the first person I met in freshman orientation and we instantly became like brothers. We lost contact after we graduated, and since I'm not on facebook I had no contact with him for like 3 years. It's sad because he was one of the most intelligent person I've ever met. We used to smoke and sit for hours talking about really deep shit. And now he's gone. He was neither weak nor selfish. Apparently like 4-5 years ago he got ahold of some bad ecstasy and it fucked him up. I don't know the medical diagnose, but he was different after that. He was one of my best friends during an important time of my life. And when I came out to him he told me "you're still my brother" and he drove up to campus and we got so fucking loaded. It's sad that he's gone, but I'm happy that whatever was haunting him is no longer an issue. Miss you Osirus.

I feel like life is a precious gift from God and when someone's commit suicide it's like they not showing no appreciation for the gift that God gave you granted we are gonna go through some difficult times in life but there is always a way to over come or get through them and most of the times it's us that bring the problems on ourselves but you have to be a strong/determined individual to do it.

Suicide is being selfish, unless it's a forced situation
it's like thinking how bad your life is, but not how your loss will impact others
or how still being alive could help others, there's always something to live for if you have the choice
It's makes it hard for me to be sympathetic besides to their family/loved ones

what if they are suffering from a mental illness?
