I got what she we saying. Especially when the french women aid about the misogynistic part and taraji applied it to her answer.  She did day that it was a problem and that hopefully she's gaining ground for the next but at the same time, is not necessarily HER story. Hollywood hasnt been that bad to her but she recognized that she isn't the rule but more the exception.  I got it.  That French lady was a bitch btw
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

I expected more from Natalie Portman. She's not very well spoken.  Emma, Amy, and Naomi were very well spoken tho. Amy kinda made me stan a bit. She seems so genuine

Last night I really had a major issue with Tarajis answer about lack of color in Hollywood
But I get it
She's still playing the game...
I guess there's a thin line between playing the game and defending the issue that holds so many aspiring talents back..
Like her saying it didn't really affect her because she's been working and getting booked... meh..

I get it ... but .... there might've been a way to stand up for the problem and still say hopefully my work is Breaking down doors for more blacks

She's not playing the game at all.. she speaking the truth.
There's still a major lack of diversity when it comes to the roles black females are allowed to play on the silver screen.
Hun
She never really admitted that
If anything Naomi did ..
Taraji played the game there and used her personal experience as an answer
It wasn't wrong but it still didn't show which side she stood on ..
if anything she only really spoke on the pay difference

GLOCK

And viola would've delivered that question correctly and with much more eloquence ...
and not so " me Me me me"

FINE.

Annette and Taraji were my favorites. I don't care for Emma off screen. She's not as captivating or likable.

See I got that as well bruv
But it's sorta her responsibility to not press past the issue at hand because it doesn't directly affect her
It reminds me of ASAP rocky ..
when he said Black lives matter doesn't affect or apply to him because he's not getting gunned down.. and that he's rich ...

Yeah hun.. u made it out the hood but that's not the point here.. you have a responsibility to see issues in totality rather than what youre faced with on a daily ...
Again.. her answer wasn't wrong.. I just feel that she could've answered it with a bit more empathy and broader vision

Taraji was the first to admit it.  :dead: When he asked the question naomi was all polite about it.  Taraji was over there grumbling and they was like well we'll take that as  no. But what she was saying was im not gonna stress over it.  Im gonna continue working and hopefully the work i do opens doors for others
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

amy was my favorite here
Both well spoken and relatable
Not some faux-outlook on this acting world or processing her roles
Some of those women were pretentious and a bit off putting
Especially the English lady

see I loved that part about not stressing about it..
I feel like I've had a similar conversation with a few new blacks ..
But u can't tell me that she didn't sorta give a bit of
oh not me.. LMAO checks stay rolling in.. my problem is that I'm not paid the same

But sis.. Lil Sheila ain't even getting a role mess outside of making sure craft services is cold or hot :damselindistress:

I just feel that the responsibility is on all working African Americans and blacks in Hollywood..

It was huge of Viola to speak on that when she won her big award for "Murder" and Brave...
and it wasn't so much of a "me" perspective.. it was an "US" outlook

Well i hear u but i feel like she did recognize it and spoke to it.  And at the same time, not everybody wants to be this civil rights leader. I recognize it and i dont agree but at the same time I'm not gonna make that the thing i talk about everytime a mic is in my face or everytime i step up to a podium. She's an actress not an activist.  U have plenty of hoes that dont have an issue throwing the blk plight on they back and carrying it around.  I didnt mind what she said tbh

Right.

I didn't get her dismissing anything.
