Actually, they don't have the billions to spend anymore. Mainly because billions of dollars are spent on military. No shade. But the government doesn't give a rat's ass about science or space. Why do you think researchers and scientists are catching hell trying to get grants to study this type of stuff. Plus the government thinks it's cheaper to send a fucking robot to space than a human being. That's the truth of it all. Why do you think there's a shortage of engineers in this country. That's the reason. In this day and age, people care more about military and religion than science. That's the reality behind it all.

Science didn't just pop up being AMAZE' like it is today. 10 years ago Dial up was still a major player in the internet field, but suddenly the US had all this tech to check earths internals to see these people or to HIDE that the earth is fcking FLAT for the past 13 billion years I'm all for a conspiracy mess but at least let it make sense like Tupacs death being a plot mess owt and the police hiding evidence.
