I promised myself I would do new things and not push people away. if I'm interested in them.

We've been talking for a bit now.. I don't even know if he'd even qualify as outside of my race vvvv he's Puerto Rican. To me PRs are only a step away from black.  Especially here in NYC. We share a lot of the same culture and mess.

I dunno, whatever. I just know he's so handsome and I'm trying my best not to be a ho. Gvvcccccc he's someone I can take seriously. Got his own shit, well mannered, not a closet case, good job and great relationship with his family.

Ok so enough babbling:
Here's my question: have you guys had "interracial relationships" before? If so, what challenges did u face (if any) ... how was it?

The only "problems" we faced was when his grandmother tried me by acting surprised I have a college degree and my parents are still together

The most glaring "challenges" I've had have been with folks who don't really know much about Black culture or the ones that are a little too involved in it. To be honest, though, those are challenges that you could face dating Black men as well.
