I still dont understand why Bran hasnt jumped on the New alt R&B mess thats been popular in the last few years.

Its really tailor made for someone like her
eh, i mean she did it with Afrodisiac, so she'd really just be revisiting it but yea a few songs would be
dope

Camo

Music is already over saturated with that. Yeah a couple of those songs would be dope. Just a taste of the route she should have went down right after Two Eleven. Pretty much her desired sound in TODAY's generation.

A seat at the table is perfect for Solange.

Some of y'all want Brandy to be this indie alt girl so bad, but y'all don't even post concepts she can do. Y'all not even creative y'all damn selves

Um we've been playing A&R since Human flopped.

!!!! FM/Afro, along with Li's Red Album and Justin's sophomore mess lowkey started that whole movement.

When Dawn started the "Heart" mixtape series I kept thinking "Bran should be doing this", had she jumped on the wave then, she would have been one of the few female artists doing it.

Gilgamesh.

Anyways, at this point in my fanhood I just appreciate the performances.

My honest opinion, Brandy will never "get it", 2/11 was her last chance (to be mainstream a hit maker), but I always support her music.

Nothing to get...she's already had it all. I get what you're saying though just stay optimistic. There's still room for Bran at the top she just has to really want that for herself at this point.

Harlem

UGHHHHH

I wanna give hands to everybody including Bran (cuz she played a major part) that decided to curve DYK, shit even So Sick as the 2nd single.... like bitch u know the FIRE u had on the album at that time... the minute they saw WD wasn't gettin any spins they could've saved face by calling it a buzz single for the 90 fans and saved the video budget for a diff song
:hmph:

Brandy was one of the first artists I loved so I can drag if I want
:ohwow:

I just really haven't been interested in a while. I don't know if it's because I'm getting older or if she's just been making late ass career decisions that I don't agree with. Probably both.

I hate her stage set-ups, her clothes, her wishy-washy personality which seems to be on one lately. One minute it's "I'm the shit", then she's afraid to walk a damn red carpet.

I don't understand.

I agree with all of this. I just don't get her lately.

I'm praying the music is good and comes soon,
because that's the only thing to redeem her at this point.

Bran can move though. She's not a Janet, but she damn sure ain't no Mariah.

Brandy is actually a really good performer. I don't want her trying to give Jan or Bey, but the stuff she does on stage right now is so late. If she got with a creative team and revamped her show she would really slay.

She has it in her, but for some reason she thinks this current set up is it.

Your vocal descriptions of each era are so OFF

!

Cccvvvvvbbbbbbbbbbbbb

But yeah Queen basically kept evolving or growing in different areas.

It's crazy to think where she'll be in another 5 years

If someone would have shown me  Begging & Plea' 5 years ago I wouldn't believe it was Quee'

I agree. I don't know anyone who's voice progressed leaps and bounds with each era

She has really gotten better vocally with each era.

I can't wait to hear the new music.

I don't think she wants to be a muse at this point of her life in career.

#vessel

Same shit she been saying since HUMAN.
I think she's talking from a spirtual perspective, Malcolm is talking about younger writers and singers creating a new sound for her.

If she invites all her stans Solange, Stacy, Jazmine etc for a writing session getaway mess. Let them create a concept, imagery and stuff

:gorlonfire:
Those ladies speak with high regards of Brandy and her discography. Not too sure if they'll deviate much from it.
