After talking to my grandmother and then consequently doing my research I found that a LOT of us have European ancestry due to the slave trade. I knew I was very surprised by my results.... I was expecting African mess in the 90's, but it's not uncommon for African Americans to have 15-20 percent Euro mess somewhere stashed in your blood.
It's just that European DNA is usually so weak that even a completely half white person can come out with kinky hair and brown skin (see: Obama)......African genes kinda shit on everything lolz which is why so many people are surprised when we discover this type of tea.
My grandmother straight up told me that it came from slave rape once I told her about the results. She didn't sugarcoat it at all.
Or make it sound fun. "Yeah, your ancestor on my father's side was raped lolz."

Honestly I wouldn't feel right claiming European blood, just based on learning where the fuck it stems from. However, I am very happy to learn more about which countries in Africa my ancestors come from, and to have my Native American heritage confirmed.
