The specifics of these kinds of deals happen behind closed doors, and would only be known to the artist, their lawyers, the attorneys for the label, agents of the publishing firm, and maybe the management. There are some likelihoods.

Brandy has performance rights to the original music she records and releases, underneath the most recent terms of the contract for which it was recorded. As the performer of the original master recording, she has the right to perform them. "Owning" them is a more complicated thing. The label may own the master recording, but the lyrics and lead is usually owned by the publishing company/companies. The amount of Brandy's stake in any of her songs could range on a wide scale.

but ok so she can perform everysong she has recorded on a released album just fine right?
