Without Amerie no one would know who Rich was

He was flopping with Amerie which is why he got his biggest and most critically acclaimed work with Beyonce.

How was he exactly flopping? When he introduced a whole new sound to the industry with Amerie and every artist started to piggyback off of.

They were piggybacking off the sound from CIL, not Amerie's past work. Amerie didnt make songs like CIL until AFTER.

No they were piggybacking off a sound Rich and Amerie introduced to the industry which is referred to as Go-Go music with the horns, cowbells, etc.

Without him or her, there would be no damn CIL or any other song that followed after.

How would there be no cil without amerie when Amerie had NO SONG like CIL unti AFTER? Amerie worked with Rich first sure, but the  gogo SOUND rich is known for started with Bey.

She didn't even work with him first.
Mary did...that's why her debut sounds like a Mary tribute album with screeching vocals.

Kelly worked with him before her too.

Basic drum work (which on its own doesn't qualify as the D.C. Go go sound)
Lazy slow vocals.

Bring on CIL
Now ppl are chanting aggressively over hard hitting horns, trumpets and drums.

Even after one thing she can't even get a foot note on the wiki page.

Dead at trying to give her credit for using of the at least 3 needed elements to serve a D.C. Go go sound.

And last time I checked Ameriie didn't produce any beat on any song on her debut.
