Lew your sup said you didnt leave a note? why didnt you ?

if you couldnt get ahold of the customer ? why not put " tried to contact and email returned undeliverable"  if she would have seen that note she would have known you at least tried?  or did i miss something ?

Okay now here is where the sneaky part comes in
She Imed me asking whats going on with it I told her This one I dont know what to do with
and she proceeded to assign more stuff to me (which i took as we are letting that one go for now)
and i dealt with those cause it was clear what to do
she then took over the order and sent an email to the lady and when it bounced back another request id was created
letting her know that in reference to the previous id  that it was undeliverable so she already knew it was bad but she closed the alert and popped up the next day saying it wasnt completed as if none ever went down

I was actually the one who found a previous account but it had been so long since she was a customer that most of her info was outdated

so

i couldve stated that no contact was made cause theres nothing to do on the order which there is still time to do
actually but she proceeded to bad mouth me about it

the truth is she was rushing to close orders and wasnt paying attention to the specifics and tried to pass it off as me just not following up

we got recorded convos about this shit
as long as you can prove this and you have tangible receipts, address it with her first and see if she will be honest about it. If not, take it to another higher-up. There's no telling the next time she'll just blame something on you.

yeah, it seems like the gorls will keep their head down for a check tbh. A 'massa don't fire me' tea

A job is a job is a job. I can get the next one as easily as I got this one. :gotchafag: But yeah, lew, always apologize first to show the fake gratitude that everybody shows at work and then challenge what was stated about you. There is nothing wrong with that. Especially if there's an open-door policy.

i really dont belive in that open door policy cause i feel u cant controll human nature
and today sis didnt email  text or assign any orders or give me any return mail today its weird cause we was slow today as well

but

we are unionized so its not that easy to just fire me

and we have anti retaliation rules in place so it helps but

so do y'all just let supervisors talk to y'all any kind of way? In fear of getting fired?
Her email wasn't rude at all. It was professional and respectful. If I was in that situation and I know damn well that I was wrong I would've admitted that I messed up and moving forward to keep a misunderstanding from happening, I would ask questions to clarify things. It's simple.
what was the need for this add-in tho?
QuoteYou even IM?ed me asking about this yesterday, but you again did not follow up
Gorl, how many daggers are you tryna throw here? :uhh: It looks like she was tryna add to her overall case that Lew is a bad worker and if this was her intention, that's a reason to "come off defensive."
something tells me this isn't the first issue she's had with him

Not saying she's justified though

No this isnt the first time  when she started assigning orders (3 months ago)  i was making mistakes on them
so she would coach me on making sure I email and call customers on a request and making sure i update orders correctly and  when to send things to the right order queues and stuff like that but of course i got better at the system  and when she assigns stuff now it no biggie i know how to proceed but this one was one i never had before and in my hand on training of these request follow ups i never encountered it so  she was frustrated i was even asking her what to do

Now, I'm known for challenging my supervisor from time to time, in justifiable situations... it's healthy, IMO.
However, how you communicate your differences or misunderstandings is key.
Defensiveness, blame, etc. is NOT the way to go.
Especially when the main boss is cc'd.
Keep the email to a minimal. Acknowledge your supervisor's accounts, and state the additional training you may need when it presents itself. EMAIL and DOCUMENT everything, to cover yourself.

I don't think it's as black and white as y'all are making it. Lew, maybe you should've started off with a "my sincerest apologies" mess and then went for the jugular. But call her to the carpet if need be. If sis can't formulate instructions that, well, make sense, that's a huge part of the equation here that needs to be addressed.
!!!!!!!!

I understand Lew is the board punching bag but her email was very accusatory, condescending, and by logic it made no sense.

First of all her motive is ulterior, is this an instructional email, are you reprimanding him?

I can see through backhanded office tactics everyday of the week. As a leader, you can't be confusing with your actions or instructions. And I believe Lew WAS confused by her earlier instructions because the structure of her email was all over the place. She went from recounting the events, to referencing another, to offering help. So clearly she's scatter-brained.

How did she expose herself?
The bitch ADMITTED in the email that Lew came to her for help earlier.
So why in the FCK are you sending another email saying ask me for help when you CLEARLY didn't help me in the first place.

Lew used to work at Pizza Hut and I'm sure this is a change for him. And I'd rather my unsure employees not do something than to do it wrong. And I take responsibility if I haven't given them the proper instructions or training. Period.

she emailed me about an unworked order and cc'd our lead supervisor after she assigned 5 other jobs to me but i didnt work one of them cause i had questions but shes tryna make me look bad  :holdupguys:

QuoteLewis,

This was assigned to you on 3/6/17. You added a private note that you would contact her, but there are no notes of you doing so. I have contacted the customer via email about her ID as she needed to be contacted.

You even IM’ed me asking about this yesterday, but you again did not follow up

Moving forward, when something is assigned we need to make sure that we are all following up with our customers that same day, as to not delay them further, this is also a bad experience for them having to wait. I am attaching the Work Expectations to you that everyone received on 2/17/17. If you have any questions, please get with me or R. 

bitch is trying it so i emailed both of them
--------------------------------------------------

I understand the work expectations. I had 4 other ROQS assigned to me as well as rejected orders that needed follow up so they were prioritized as they were clearer to me at the time what needed to be done. Even Deborah Z. commented that she couldn’t find an associated order for the ID. After our conversation Via IM I was in the mind frame of placing an order for her. I attempted to look at a previous account to find a contact number and could not find one. Moving forward I would appreciate more concise instructions when something that vague is assigned to me, and most times its obvious and sometimes it needs instructions. We all know if something isn’t done in the correct manner that it causes possible escalations, delays, miscommunication & overall “heat” for the rep involved as illustrated by this email. I try to work all ROQS and rejected orders as quickly and efficiently as my training allows and open to learning how to handle different situations more effectively in the future.

and now shes acting stank :udontlookok:

Ch you kinda went in to much  fish want you gone..you should've just emailed her back "okay" simple and cute read

It's not about this boy being a punching bag. His response was stupid af. Bottom line.
