I'm talking about the statements floating around about Nicki not being up to par with Remy because Rem's a better lyricist.

from what I know of Remy she was and is still a battle rapper

so of COURSE she's going to have better lyrics, and 7 minutes of going in is nothing for a battle rapper, with facts or no facts, that's what they do

but, if that's SOLE the requirement .... ok Remy, is the Queen of Rap.

but what about all the other aspects of Hip Hop: delivery, creative metaphors (which Nicki is the best at), etc...

and it also excludes a whole lot of other female emcees from the "Queen of Rap" title

and if it's not the SOLE requirement, then Nicki is the Queen of Rap cause she clearly ousts her on all the other eligible categories

Yeah, I was surprised they even put it on ITunes.  Sis dropped it 48 hours after Nicki's verse, complete with a jacked beat, and just put it on soundcloud like .  Clearly, they were not anticipating a whole single push or promotion.  The fact that it even managed to chart and get spins was a feat.

But why are we discussing chart positions?

It's not about the criteria. The GRIPE is Nicki's REFUSAL to play the sport. If this girl can't touch you on this level, and that level, at least prove you're better on the most fundamental, essential level. 

You can't spend your career claiming you're the bestest for points, for sport, and when challenged, you're mute because you.......... are in Paris recreating Lil Kim titty out. Or because you.....sell records.
