My friend just had a bday celebration and i didn't go.  I was going thru some shit of my own and just wasnt in the mood tbh. I  told my friend just that and she understood.  Honestly, if she didn't then i would have a problem with her and not really care about the friendship.  Yea, its your bday. Congrats. My life and my problems don't cease because of that.

Everyone who I invited showed up. There  were people there who didn't like eachother but they came because it was my day and they put the mess aside.

U sound like a terrible friend.  Did u die?  She told u that she was uncomfortable and ur response is "so what. ME!  MY BIRTHDAY!" Everyone isnt the same.  Just because someone else can deal with confrontation or being in the midst of people they arent comfortable around doesnt mean this girl should just suck it up cause they did.  U aren't being considerate of her at all but somehow u expect all the consideration in the world.  She should just say good riddance and call it a day
