I think I first heard her pop off for hiphop audiences with her Ante Up verse.  Are we pretending that didn't happen?

Sis was winning hiphop awards, feuding with Kim and Foxy, and making headlines BESIDES making her presence known for rap listeners.  Why do you think these radio DJs are so invested?  Even Wendy talks fondly of Remy because she was on radio in NY back then, and Remy had a following.


I keep mentioning Nicki herself throwing Remy's name in the top female rapper discussion with Kim and Foxy, and y'all keep ignoring it.    Your own girl disagrees with you, or she did back then.

When she got locked up it was never headlines? When she got out nobody was interested in seeing what she was gonna give? When she got on L&HH? When "All the Way Up" was a success? None of that were Nicki's doings.

n Lady Luck is still mad about a battle she lost almost 20 years ago.


If the girls were jealous of Nicki and throwing shots at her (I don't disagree), then what exactly was Nicki doing for throwing SHOTS at all the female rappers when she debuted?  Jealous?  Nasty?  Throwing rocks and hiding her hand?  Remy said in jail she was going to get Nicki back for coming at her over the Yeah Yeah Yeah beat.  Nicki is only getting what she deserves.  Like I'll feel sorry for her for being disrespected by other female rappers.  Tuh!  You reap what you sow.
