You can't compare a brand new line pioneered by an artist verses a SKETCHERS mess, that's been around for years, and is being endorsed by a few celebrities, especially with one of them being a Kardashian :dead: stupid, slow ass thread
No one cared about Puma before queen Rih gave them a boost.

:udontlookok:
sounds about right
QuoteThe chief of Puma admitted on Friday that arch rival Adidas was on a roll due to the popularity of its retro sneakers, but he believed a deal with singer Rihanna would help the smaller German sportswear firm get back in the game

Compared to the much bigger Nike and Adidas, Gulden said Puma was still struggling to get space at retailers, although its popular retro suede sneakers and new women's products were prompting distributors to call to ask to stock its range again.

Compared to the much bigger Nike and Adidas, Gulden said Puma was still struggling to get space at retailers, although its popular retro suede sneakers and new women's products were prompting distributors to call to ask to stock its range again.

Gulden said currency effects had slowed growth in sales and profitability in the first quarter although the women's business, helped by products designed by singer Rihanna, had started to show "excellent results".
"The women's business helps on the men's side too. Rihanna opens the door," he said.
Puma cited strong demand for sneakers designed by the superstar singer in February when it reported higher-than-expected sales growth in the fourth quarter.

Sounds much way than a "a nice boost" to me
Was kyle mentioned :kii:

No one said Puma was dead, but she helped revive the Brand :plzstop:

Puma existed and thrived before Rih and Kylie.

Ivy Park is brand new.

they are NOT comparable. :uhh:
Puma wasn't thriving, the moment Rih came on board it saw a huge boost.

r u dumb?

She didnt revive the brand because it was still alive and well. She did give them a nice BOOST.
But to say it wasn't thriving.  :kii:
:plzstop:

Puma isn?t really considered a major player within the sneaker industry. People definitely wear Pumas, but they can?t touch Nike or Adidas in terms of cultural clout. However, they might be well on their way to changing that with a few well chosen celebrity associations.

After naming Rihanna creative director for its women?s line last year, Bloomberg Business is reporting that Puma beat their average fourth quarter financial projections by a whopping $34.5 million. There?s no reason to think Rihanna?s sold out collection of ?Creeper? and ?Eskiva? sneakers weren?t a huge reason for that, and Puma?s CEO agrees. ?She can sell sneakers and Puma is onto something here which we haven?t seen yet in the women?s area,? German company?s CEO Bjorn Gulden state at a press conference.

r u on drugs? you were basically saying the shit was DEAD..

dumb faggot  :dead:
TF?! No one said it was dead. I said it wasn't thriving

What's the difference?

And the other post I quoted you said the same thing.

yea.  :dead: but of course those two idiots KII'd at this mess.

Is this supposed to mean something?  We can post pics of celebs in Fenty as well.  The question was is the general public rockin the mess

why so combative? I haven't said 1 negative thing about rih's line in here.
Im answering the OP.. as she claims nobody is wearing it.
right, the question was is ANYONE wearing the brand and clearly there are lots of people wearing. Not sure where the "general public" came into play, but that's vonc; he's a bit slow.

Nobody said Ivy Park was a COMPANY.

It just isn't the same as Rih's Puma mess.\ which should be obvious.

And whatever Rih is doing with Puma is different from Ivy Park.

Puma was already in existence..

And so was Topshop
Wtf
This selective logic
I'm YELLING
Just to see y'all foaming at the mouth has me stoked

But Ivy Park wasn't in existence, which is the um, difference?

Puma = Puma
Ivy Park =/= Topshop

You're not making any sense. Rihanna is literally endorsing a shoe. She didn't create a brand new line of footwear or activewear nor did she co-found anything with Puma and she isn't operating her collection under her own production company. She has an endorsement deal. What other celebrities have an athletic brand with Topshop? None. How many celebs have shoes with Puma? A zillion. Big Sean was just announced 2 months ago.
