I think they all hated him
I remember like last year Carl Anthony Payne said he had issues with Martin
and I think Tichina said he used to take the insults too far with her too when she was on theBreakfastClub 1 time
really a shame because he's one of the greatest actor/comedians ever

It was getting harder to work with him each season (his ego and drug use).

Tommy and Martin were always cool. They were friends prior before the show. Carl and Martin never really got along but had great chemistry on set. Tichina complained about jokes and insults but Tisha caught the worse.

I just feel like if Fox was going to do another season they should have just let Ticha go and say they grew apart and we're getting a divorce. I mean that's realistic and I would have loved to see Ticha just cuss him the fuck out like she prolly wanted to in real life. Give a good personal feeling real life emotional mess it would have been so authentic, this way they just focus on the other characters more and it wouldn't have been so cringe worthy to watch smfh just my two cents

but the dynamics between Martin and apple head were so amazing that the viewers wouldn't have gone for that and eventually they would've lost all of their viewers!
I doubt anyone would've wanted to see a single martin again.. after they already had his "single season"!

and i'm trying to imagine Pam into the mix with her girl.. there would've been overkill on the Martin vs Pam and would've ruined the show in its entirety

Sometimes he went overboard with the insults. He used to crack on her teeth before she got them fixed, etc. But they were always cool. They're even more close now than before since the show wrapped.

Martin was always one of my favorite comedians but I recently went to see him live and he was terrible. he talked about shitting and farting the whole set and it just was not funny

im sure most of their back and forth was off the books.. thats why it felt so organic

Yeah most of their insults weren't scripted or planned. It was just happened organically.
