After parting ways with Drake?s OVO label in spring of 2016, iLoveMakonnen took to Twitter to reveal that there was some tension between him and the Drizzy. Drake had signed Makonnen after jumping on his track ?Tuesday,? but in a recent interview, Makonnen stated that the two became distant after that. Allegedly, at a party last September things began to get ugly after Makonnen?s Tim Westwood freestyle, which eventually led to his coming out as a homosexual. ?I was threatened by others,? he remembers. ?Someone I so-called look up to. Saying, ?We gon fuck you up the next time we see you.? And I was like, ?Let me stop being me.? I started to go back to, ?I?m just gonna go eat anything, and just be hiding myself and shit.? And then I was like, ?No! I?m not doing that no more! I don?t give a fuck! I?m ? me.? And that?s what led me to coming out and shit.? What exactly happened at the party?
