I saw it. The second half was way better than the first. The acting was strong for the campy subject matter. Over all I enjoyed it and I look forward to see what they bring up in a sequel.

I saw it this afternoon.

It was a completely different film from the original; characters and everything. It was good on its own without comparing it to the original.

They can clearly make a saga out of this.

Flaws:
Rita gave The Girl from the Ring Teas
Alpha was so dry
Zordon was a bitch and got on my fucking nerves
The Zords were hard to see - felt like color and emphasis on the models weren't good enough
