H
That's not what he's even saying
He's saying the soft voiced/strong dancer formula, isn't working and hasn't since the middle of last decade.
Thank you!
They ain't dumb. But they like to pretend they are.
Jazmine sullivan can sing. She's a flop. So can k michelle, shanice, tiffany evans, etc and aren't focused on choreography
None of them are building traction
Maybe this thread is just dumb
I can name 5 white artists that aren't building traction either.
And if it's so dumb, then get yo ass out.
And i can name 10+ white superstars in music while we have the same 4 in urban.
Has nothing to do with being able to dance or whatever. The music market just shifted out of black artist's favor.
I disagree with this.
I think the music market shifted out of "R&B".
Hip Hop is bigger than it has ever been. "Bad & Bougee" just went #1. Artists like Future are getting Top 10's and Top 20's in their sleep.
But someone like Jason DeRulo proved you can be just as successful as any white artist releasing hit singles and albums that no one buys.
Realistically, there are only a handful of artists truly dominating.... Drake, Beyonce, The Weekend, Bruno Mars, Adele, Rihanna, Justin Bieber & Taylor Swift.
Outside of iTunes, most of these white girls are NOT doing it like that either.
